    Description

    Hello, here I have for your consideration is a British Women's Voluntary Service Medal medal, complete with ribbon, lapel pin, and the presentation case, in good condition. The medal is stuck of possibly silver? and it was awarded to the Women’s Royal Voluntary Service Long Service Medal was instituted in 1961 to recognize 15 years’ service undertaken by women and men on behalf of the Women Voluntary Service organization between 1938 and 1966. There is a small spot of coating or plating deterioration on the top right in the front of medal, initially, I thought it was a rust spot, but after my close observation, I found out the metal underneath the silver plating was in white or silver color. This is an original item.
