    Description

    A great Hammer Cut Cancelled note with the only problem being some light stains down by the Register's signature which can be seen from the attached pictures. There are also a few pinholes, around 8 or 9, but not too bad for the grade and to be expected! Still nice eye appeal and clear signatures! To the left is a portrait of C.G. Memminger, the Confederate Secretary of the Treasury and also the man who basically invented the whole Confederate money system... The center has a sailor with a telescope. He is leaning on some cotton bales! Finally, to the right, there is a vignette of Justice with her scales and sword standing, while Ceres holds a 5 and kneels by Justice's feet... Perfect for any Confederate currency collector! I TAKE OFFERS!!!!
