The Fender Baritone Sub-Sonic Stratocaster neck features a comfortable Modern C profile, a 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, and a satin finish on the back for smooth playability.
Note: Every neck and guitar is different, and a final setup, including filing the nut slots and a final fret leveling, may be required after installation on your guitar. Call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer with any questions you have about upgrading or replacing the neck on your Fender guitar or bass.
The lowdown on Fender replacement necks
The nut on the Baritone Sub-Sonic Stratocaster neck is pre-slotted with pilot grooves to facilitate easy spacing while performing final string slot filing. We recommend that nut slots be cut by a qualified luthier. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other setup procedures. Sweetwater’s Guitar Workshop is an FMIC Authorized Service Center and can install genuine Fender replacement necks. For the ultimate in playability, have our experienced guitar technicians perform a Plek Pro setup on your new baritone!
